Q & A with Bernie – April 16, 2012

Question for Bernie:

I have Stage 4 lung cancer which has spread to my lymph nodes. I was told it is inoperable and the cancer is terminal.

I had radiotherapy for thirteen 20-minute sessions. I planned to pray during this treatment and then was surprised when I slept through the sessions as soon as I started praying.

Both my tumor and the cancerous lymph nodes are half the size they were before the treatment. I am only 44-years-old, but my consultant has told me I will die in November and has nothing more to offer me in terms of treatment or hope.

I pray constantly and am trying to alter my diet, but I feel I could be doing more. What supplements should I be taking and what foods should I eat and avoid? I have your books, A Book of Miracles and Love, Medicine, and Miracles. I am doing as much as I can, fatigue allowing, but I need advice on my diet. I also want to know if there is any hope for my survival beyond this November? Kind Regards.

Bernie’s Answer:

First, bet your consultant $10,000 that you will live until January or longer. I’ll put up the money and see if he accepts. He is killing you with his “word swords.”

For me, the key is to love your life and love your body so it does all it can to help you to heal.

Self-induced healing comes when you find harmony and rhythm in your life and become authentic and are no longer living a role.

You are already bringing prayer into your healing journey, and I believe that leaving your troubles to God works, too. Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.
