Q & A with Bernie – October 28, 2013

Question for Bernie:

What are the ways or treatments I can use to help me get my overactive immune system back to normal?  This overactive immune response has created so many allergies to medications—particularly chemo drugs that I am taking for ovarian cancer.  My doctor tells me that if my immune system was normal, I could take drugs that would work better.

I have had very bad reactions to several medicines including one instance of anaphylaxis. Any suggestions you can provide about diet, or medical facilities that treat this problem would be much appreciated.

I have read your books Peace, Love and Healing, and Love, Medicine and Miracles. I am re-reading them now. Also, I attended your lecture when you came to Mobile, Alabama. It was so very helpful.  Thank you.

Bernie’s Answer:

If you have unexpressed anger stemming from earlier life experiences in childhood or young adulthood, it is essential to find a constructive way to get it out.  This will immediately calm your mind and body.  Any kind of exercise approved by your doctor and that you like to do—even taking walks each day—is a great way to begin the process of eliminating that repressed, destructive anger.

Make two lists.  On List #1, write down any negative words you can use to describe the experience of having the hyperactive immune system.  On List #2, write down any negative words you would use to describe the people and situations in your life experience that have left you with unexpressed anger.  Compare the lists to see if there are words common to both lists, and resolve to eliminate (or severely limit) your involvement with the people or situations present in your life today that leave you with unexpressed anger.

Various supplements can help too, like curcumin, boswelia, and others.  See a naturopathic physician for guidance using supplements.  A good resource is http://www.lifeextension.com/.

Bernie

Question for Bernie:

I listened to your Hay House interview, and I think you were right about the fact that if we love sincerely, we will have perfect health.

My question is: Do you think that illness exists?

Bernie’s Answer:

This is how I would answer your question—

Darkness is the absence of light,
Cold the absence of heat,
Evil the absence of God’s love,
Illness the absence of a healthy mind.

Peace,

Bernie

Question for Bernie:

Good morning from London!

I listened to your very special Hay House one hour talk.   I love your advice about picking up alphabet letters to come up with what you are grateful for.

I have a child who is nine years old with diagnoses of both autism and ADHD.  Her main issues are being completely non-verbal and also fairly active.  I believe in her, and feel that one day she’ll break the barrier and talk.

I love her unconditionally, and currently we are doing homeothermic and various other supportive therapies.  She loves yoga, and is very religious child.

Sometime, I blame myself for her condition. I feel that it’s because I didn’t eat the right food, and because I was stressed and depressed throughout the pregnancy.
Is there a CD you can recommend which she can listen to that will help her heal herself and her brain?

Bernie’s Answer:

Please stop blaming yourself.  There is no basis for it.

Learn to do “energy healing” so that you can send her loving energy through your hands.  Also, use visualization to see your daughter as being completely healthy, talking, and happy.

Look through the CDs on my website.  One of the CDs is for finding peace.  You can read the titles and select what you think would be most helpful.

If you don’t already have a pet in your family, consider getting one for her to live with and care for.   Let her help pick a pet out—go to the shelter and explain that she can make a little pet very happy with her love.

Peace,

Bernie
