On Procrastination

It’s the start that stops most people.
~ Don Shula

Our excuses are endless:  I’ll do it tomorrow, as soon as I get the time, I have a note on my desk to remind me, and so on and so forth.  There are no tomorrows, there are only todays.  If you don’t get started today, you may never do it.

There must be fear involved, or you would have started by now.  Nothing is holding you back except you.  If you are procrastinating, then ask yourself, what am I afraid of?  What is the risk involved?  What do I really want to do? Get in touch with your desires and ask yourself what is holding you back.  Acknowledge these barriers and begin your task with one small step.  You can set your own pace and do it your own way, so why wait?

Stop waiting for the right timeIt is here now.

Peace,
- Bernie
