Too Heavy

Take a deep breath, count to ten,
and tackle each task one step at a time.

~ Linda Shalaway

What do you do when you are asked to carry a stone that is too heavy for you to lift?  What do you do when the problems confronting you seem overwhelming?  You can carry the stone by breaking it into pieces first, and you can do the same thing with your problems.  Do not be overwhelmed; start working on one small piece and you will find the solution.

Break down your overwhelming tasks and problems that seem too heavy to bear.  Tackle each piece, one by one, day by day, until what once seemed overwhelming is handled and completed.  Then you will have a sense of accomplishment and realize just how much you can carry.

When something feels heavy, break it down until one piece of it is light enough to handle.  Begin there.
