Effort

“It’s the constant and determined effort that breaks down resistance, sweeps away all obstacles.”
~ Claude M. Bristol (1891-1951)

Why do you extend yourself and put extra effort into certain tasks? Is it the desire for personal gain or reward that keeps you working overtime?  What motivates you to really perform work of the highest quality and put in the effort needed to achieve your desired results?

I hope the answers to those questions are not related only to extrinsic and material things, but to an effort to do what is right as well.  We are all here to work for what is right.  Through our efforts we can create a better world.  When we start doing the right things for the right reasons, we will create the right world.

What are you willing to put out the effort for? Do as the marines say in their training motto and “Choose the difficult right over the easy wrong.”

Peace,
Bernie
