The difference between stumbling blocks and stepping stones
is the way one uses them.

When you experience uncomfortable feelings such as gnawing unrest, sadness, irritation, or depression, do not label them as bad feelings. Your feelings are signs that something is stirring inside of you and seeking a response.
Our feelings aid and protect us. They help us to know what is going on inside of us and warn us to respond when there is danger. They are our directors and teachers.
Feelings that bubble to the surface have a purpose. When you remove your judgment of them and follow their direction, they will reveal the underlying issue so that it can be resolved.
When you stop resisting your feelings, you will see that they offer you a source of wisdom and an opportunity for nourishment and growth.
