My treatment center wants me to start a non-smoking program; I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and Masters level therapist.

What is your question? If it relates to my approach to addiction treatment, for me all addicts need to be re-parented with love so they learn to truly care for and about themselves.
You might recognize this famous quote:

One of the clearest statements about the need for loving oneself was made 900 years ago by the same great philosopher, Maimonides, who said:
If people took as good care of themselves as they do their animals they would suffer fewer illnesses.

My example of how people around us today are living up to what Maimonides said 900 years ago is to point out that people smoke outdoors to protect their pets from harmful second-hand smoke. As a teacher, then, let me ask the class, “What does that tell you about non-smoking?”
